8.1 Mortgage/rent requirements
Premises in Midrand leased at rental of R25 000 a month. Two year lease with an option to renew for a further one year. Escalation: none in year two; 6% in year three.
8.2 Regulations & permits
The following are required:
- Register business as a Pty Ltd
- Register website and domain name
- Membership of the Audit Bureau of Circulations
- Membership of the Online Publishers Association
8.3 Agreements
Agreements are to be entered into with the following to ensure continuity of supply in the medium term:
- Logan’s Web Printing
- National Magazine Distributors
- Crazyweb
- Dan the Computer Man
8.4 Trademarks & copyrights
The Wheels Alive! name, logo and trademark will be registered, both in SA and neighbouring states. This is important, as the long-term strategy includes several brand extensions.
